South Andaman
Natural Bridge, also known as the Howrah Bridge of Andaman, is one of the most unique natural formations located on Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). The bridge is a naturally formed rock structure created by years of erosion caused by sea waves and wind. This incredible geological formation resembles a natural arch and is considered one of the most fascinating attractions in the Andaman Islands.
During low tide, visitors can walk close to the natural bridge and observe various marine creatures such as starfish, sea cucumbers, small crabs, and colorful corals trapped in the shallow pools of water. The surrounding area is rich in biodiversity, making it an interesting location for both nature lovers and photographers.
The rock formations around the natural bridge create a dramatic landscape, especially during sunrise and sunset when the golden light reflects on the ocean. The unique shape of the bridge and the surrounding marine life make this location one of the must-visit places on Neil Island.
